Blessing

My work, Blessing, is a unique combination of Murano glass and recycled brass wire. The garnet seeds are made of vibrant and clear Murano glass, while the brass wire skin adds elegance and eco-consciousness to the work.

The garnet has long symbolized growth, vitality, and prosperity. A biblical symbol of fertility, blessing, and abundance, it represents energy and vitality. Lovers exchanged garnets as symbols of love, fidelity, and courage, drawing strength and confidence in their eternal love from them. Shakespeare used the garnet in Romeo and Juliet as a representation of true love and innocence.

Each glass seed in my work symbolizes abundance and well-being, while the brass skin represents protection and eternity. «Blessing» will become a talisman that brings abundance, happiness and inspiration, just as the garnet brings life and prosperity to everything it touches.
