A night lamp with porcelain shades «Ears and the sun». By Galina Kostyuchenko, 2024 When creating a night lamp, the task was to rethink the image of grain ears in a modern interior, which are usually associated either with powerful sheaves in the spirit of socialist realism, or with rustic aesthetics. The inspiration was a light elegant bouquet of spikelets collected in a field at sunset.

The result is a bright modern interior object combining the functions of a table lamp and a night light. In the first mode, only the ears are lit, creating soft evening lighting. In the second mode, it is a full-fledged lamp. The design will be interesting to those who want to add an object in a modern Russian style to the interior without driving themselves into the framework of familiar ideas.

Materials: metal, porcelain. The spikelets are made of bisq porcelain by slip casting, fired at t more than 1200C. Each spikelet is decorated with carved decor. Porcelain is ideal for things in the interior that are inherited from parents to children. In 100 years, the lamps will have different light sources for the lampshades, and the sun and the ear of wheat will remain faithful companions of mankind. Dimensions: 500* 500 mm, weight 1.2 kg The price is 30,000 rubles.
