There are more than 52 thousand stolen works of art in the world, and these are only those registered by the INTERPOL organization. This topic is important because it is through works of art and historical documents that scientists learn the secrets of our ancestors, our history. I was attracted to the idea of a virtual museum, because, in my opinion, the theme of virtual worlds and digitalization echoes the theft of exhibits: there are exhibits somewhere, but they are not in the right places; the Internet is full of photos of various objects, but not everyone can see them live, so is there Are they? In addition, theft is possible not only in reality, when paintings are cut out of frames, and artifacts are taken from museums where they were stored, but also in virtual space — in this case, an «error», pixels or a message about a non-existent request appears at the place of loss. The combination of all of the above gave me the idea of a product that would reflect theft in the virtual space.
