In the previous module, Zhanna Aguzarova was presented as the subject of study—an image of the queen of epotage, a Russian beauty from a cyber-village. However, this time the focus shifts to her other side: the image of a Caucasian alien. This project is inspired by the cultural codes of Georgia. The architecture of Zhanna Aguzarova’s image, while maintaining its clear structure, is retold through the new language of Georgian identity and its interpretation in a contemporary form. The project is based on traditional costumes and national textiles, viewed through the prism of modern graphic techniques and relevant color combinations.
