The «Idol» festival venue unites art, music, and self-discovery, creating an atmosphere of a bright and creative future. Here, every visitor can enjoy the contrasts and diversity of talent from idols—professionals in their field.
The stage and exhibition at the «Idol» venue embody the idea of self-confidence and self-love, allowing everyone to feel their uniqueness and become part of a large art scene. This project is filled with positive energy and inspiration, giving everyone the opportunity to find something special and unique for themselves.
My project, «Idol,» is a dream of a bright future where art and music help people discover their true selves and become their own idols. It is through creativity and self-acceptance that we can gain confidence and love ourselves as we are.
Project Title — «Idol» Idols are artists popular in Asian countries. They are multifaceted, talented individuals involved in dancing, singing, acting, and other art forms. Their persona is built upon perfection and flawlessness in every aspect. These idols are true professionals in their field.
The stage is given dynamism by one high angle. The stage also features a walkway, whose angularity and unconventional shape also lend it dynamism. Each bench is rendered in vibrant colors.
The bright colors and unusual shapes of the benches are intended to evoke a feeling of joy and surprise in visitors.
The walkway leading to the stage symbolizes the path to self-acceptance and self-development. Its angularity and non-standard shape remind us that every path in life is unique and possesses its own particularities.
Together, all of this creates an atmosphere of joy, positivity, and inspiration—an atmosphere inspired by the song «Idol"—and aims to show everyone that we are all who we are and valuable just as we are.
I used various lighting setups to convey a nocturnal atmosphere, employing light rays and luminous elements to illuminate the farms.
At the exhibition, you will see an entrance stele shaped like the BTS logo, along with a reflection of the ARMY logo—their fans—on the floor.
I also used styling inspired by the «Love Yourself» albums, which is reflected in both the floor design and the exhibits.
Materials used on site include direct trusses for the stage and exhibition, as well as lighting equipment.
On my platform—be it stage or exhibition—everyone will find something special for themselves, whether it’s a new artist, a musical composition, or an artistic facet. I believe that art has the power to unite people and help them unlock their potential, and this project reflects my dream of a vibrant and creative future where everyone can be their own idol.
