The concept of the interdisciplinary project THE DL RUNAWAY reacts to the all-permeating, suffocating, and clouding reality. It is about the desire to break free and escape from reality, when the gesture itself and its desperation becomes more important than the destination. THE_DL RUNAWAY project is about a person who is tired of the long-standing regime, pressure, and restrictions, who suddenly experiences the culmination of despair, which pushes them to run, here and now, resorting to extreme measures. Being completely able to exit by the apartment’s doors, a person chooses the path of a hero escaping by tied-up bedsheets through the window. The character ties the sheets and begins their escape, using the artifact of the past as a way to build an already inevitable bridge to a free future.
