TKANO and Ornamika project tried to rethink the visual component of Russian folk culture and bring it into modern interiors.
The result of the collaboration was a limited edition Culture Heritage ethno-drop based on the national patterns of Even, Bashkir, Nanai and Chuvash people. We have carefully studied traditional textile patterns, reinterpreted them in a modern way and carefully transferred them to the textile. The collection includes four brightly coloured cotton blankets and a decorative cushion, soon we plan to add drop rugs and other cushions in this collection.
The main aim of Cultural Heritage is to strike a balance between the traditional and the contemporary. Textiles from this collection go well with modern interiors: they are ideal for the role of accent decor, giving the room an atmosphere of uniqueness and originality.
