Concept
ANODOS — a jewelry collection inspired by the ancient Greek myth of Persephone and Hades, a story of love, fate, and the eternal connection between two worlds. The collection centers on four garnet beads—a symbol of an unbreakable union—embodied in each piece through the contrast of cold, raw silver and deep red stone.

According to ancient Greek myth, Hades, ruler of the underworld, abducted the beautiful Persephone and made her his wife. When it was time to release his beloved, he gave her four pomegranate seeds, forever binding her to the realm of the dead. By eating them, Persephone condemned herself to eternal return to Hades’s kingdom, spending part of the year by his side and the other part on Earth. Thus, the pomegranate became a symbol of an unbreakable union, and Persephone’s return—the embodiment of the changing seasons, the rebirth of life, and the eternal cycle of nature.

The ANODOS collection is founded on the metaphor of four pomegranate seeds, which Hades gave Persephone as a symbol of their unbreakable bond. Each piece of jewelry holds one pomegranate seed—a particle of an ancient legend embodied in cool silver. When combined into a complete set, the four seeds recreate the symbol of the eternal connection between two worlds: love and fate.

Materials: blackened silver and polished red almandine—natural stone

The jewelry is crafted using the artistic silver casting method, followed by hand finishing that creates a distinct, uneven metal texture. It is then blackened and polished, which enhances the relief and gives the silver an aged appearance. The final step is setting the polished red almandine, which retains its natural shape and translucent structure.

The target audience for ANODOS is women aged 16–35 who value individuality, art, and meaningful jewelry. They are interested in mythology, history, culture, and contemporary design. They prefer unique, artisanal pieces that underscore their personality and become a part of self-expression. For them, jewelry is not merely an accessory—it is a way to express their identity and narrative.

Jewelry prototypes were developed in Blender, with detailed rendering of the form, proportions, and texture of the pieces. Based on these digital models, the jewelry prototypes were manufactured using 3D printing technology to evaluate their appearance and construction.
