As part of the «Architectural Workshop» practicum, the task was set to develop the architectural and artistic concept for a tower. The project concept was shaped by the theme of the future thesis, «The Second Life of Bonivur,» and reflects the idea of revitalizing the territory through a reinterpretation of its past.

In 1986, near the village of Nizhnetambovskoye, construction began on the industrial city of Bonivur, designed to house 300,000 residents. The Amur Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant was intended to be the city’s primary industry. The construction effort brought together youth brigades from various regions of the USSR. By 1989, the pioneer settlement of «Zarechka» was built—54 two-apartment houses. However, the construction of the city and its industrial complex was halted. Today, what remains of the unfinished Bonivur includes the residential area of «Zarechka, ” concrete foundations, incomplete structures, and the ruins of the production base, which are gradually being reclaimed by the taiga.
