The jewelry collection CONCRETE was created as part of a thesis project focused on developing a souvenir brand for Vladivostok. At its core is a reinterpretation of the seawall’s form—a characteristic element of the coastal landscape. Its massive geometry and functional design served as the foundation for the jewelry, transforming an industrial object into a distinct aesthetic form.
The collection’s design incorporates engravings featuring the coordinates of significant maritime landmarks in Vladivostok: Sports Embankment, Tobizina Cape, Patrokl Bay, and others. These names are integrated with the technical symbols found on nautical charts. This graphic serves as a reference to the industrial aesthetic of the breakwaters themselves, which are traditionally marked with production identifiers.
