The EVIG typeface is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale, «The Snow Queen.»
Its visual foundation is the fractal construction principle, referencing the structure and growth of ice crystals. The letterforms develop through the repetition of inherent elements, recalling the natural geometry of snowflakes. The delicate, brittle graphics evoke a sense of coldness, alienation, and icy beauty.
