Cubism. About the style
Cubism—a revolutionary artistic language of the 20th century: it deconstructs the world into fragments and reassembles them from geometric planes, presenting the object from multiple viewpoints. The style is characterized by a restrained palette, fragmented forms, and material experimentation. Cubism influenced architecture, design, fashion, photography, and film, fundamentally altering the way we perceive the world.

Concept
The city in a Cubist prism—a living mosaic of memories: the image is formed from «frames"—a street corner, an arch, the junction of façades. The multilayered forms reflect the layering of experience, while the facets and joints convey the shifting perspectives of the pedestrian, driver, and observer. The density of the buildings underscores the richness of the city’s memory with detail, and the silhouette, reminiscent of a water droplet, connects the composition to the water tower’s space.
