Concept
This project is dedicated to lost children’s toys found on playgrounds. By photographing them, I am «collecting» a collection of objects that were once someone’s treasure. I do not know their stories, nor can I restore the connection between the toy and its owner, but it is this very uncertainty that becomes part of the project. The work rethinks the idea of «childhood treasures»: instead of collecting things we want to keep, I focus on what has been lost. Photography becomes a way to give these objects attention and temporarily restore their value.
