The project explores St. Anne’s Church, conceptualizing its space as something magnetic, sacred, and deeply «warm,» akin to a womb.
The womb of Annekirche is not just a place of safety and comfort, but also a particular cocoon: an environment of genesis, emergence, transformation, and anticipation. The interior decor, gently framed by light and silence, offers a profound sense of tranquility. It allows one to experience the passage of time unhurriedly, while also seeing, hearing, and feeling what usually goes unnoticed.
