The production internship, completed at the time of the first module of the 4th year, was undertaken at MSB-Engineering LLC. The company’s core operations involve engineering surveys, engineering and technical design, construction project management, construction oversight, author supervision, and providing technical consulting in these fields.
Objectives
During the internship, the tasks performed included analyzing and documenting the design project: — studying the provided materials and blueprints; — analyzing the graphic and spatial organization of the object; — working with plans, sections, and individual drawing elements; — organizing and systematizing project materials; — preparing graphic documentation in AutoCAD.
Goal
Gain practical experience working with project documentation using an engineering object as a case study, and solidify skills in computer drafting and graphic presentation.
Object
Olkhovsk Reservoir is a crucial element of the Donbas water supply system. It serves as a water source for the filtration plant and contributes to maintaining the regional water management system. Within the hydrotechnical infrastructure, the water intake structures—which ensure water is drawn from the reservoir—are particularly important. Their technical condition and reliability are directly linked to the efficiency of the water supply system.
