Style
Neoplasticism is an abstract art movement. It emerged in the early 20th century in the Netherlands among a group of artists who published the journal «Stijl,» which focused on new artistic forms. They aimed for «pure plasticism»: reducing art to geometric abstraction by eliminating naturalism and subjectivity, in order to express universal harmony through the balance of straight lines, rectangles, and a strictly limited palette (red, yellow, blue, black, white, gray).

Location
The water tower on Battery Hill in Vyborg was built in 1930 based on the design by architect Väyne Keinänen. The project involves creating a cultural space inside the tower while preserving its historical appearance. Suspended art objects shaped like drops will be installed in the central staircase opening.
