The concept behind this animation study is to explore the learning of After Effects using the language of After Effects itself. A basic shape (a sphere) acts as the protagonist—it appears in the composition and begins testing all the tools learned. As it navigates the laws of physics (bouncing), mask manipulation, and layer hierarchy, the shape evolves before vanishing into a gradient tunnel at the end.
