Zoosad is a typeface inspired by Central European styles from the first half of the twentieth century. My greatest inspiration comes from the work of Vojtěch Preissig.

Preysing engaged in calligraphy and linoleum carving. These practices exerted a strong influence on him and his work, and at one point, he popularized vibrant calligraphic flourishes in typography. They also appear in Zoosad, though in a more subtle form.
This is the first part of a two-module project. The full typeface will appear only in the next module. Here: lowercase Latin characters, the beginning of diacritics, and the first signs of the supplementary zooset, which will continue to expand alongside the rest of the glyph set.
translated from Czech: «little creatures»
The first five glyphs of the additional animal set have been created for the typeface, with each having a unique feature. The feature replaces a word with an image if it is typed without a typo. It works as follows:

Currently, the feature works for five animals in English and Czech. The animals are listed below. In the next module, the selection of animals and letters will expand, and the feature will support more languages.
