The idea is inspired by the expressive traces left on the frozen surface of the water by an icebreaker as it traverses impassable icy expanses. The mirror represents a thin thread of water framed by ice. Ice, as a living material, is difficult to replicate in glass, particularly its elusive texture. Although glass and ice belong to different worlds, they share a remarkable resemblance. Both materials initially appear fragile and ephemeral, yet they also embody strength and resilience. Their transparency allows light to pass through, creating a play of reflections and shadows that resemble the dance of light on a frozen surface.
