NDA

For the typographic animation, I chose Billie Eilish’s track «NDA, ” specifically the section from „Did I take it too far?“ The song deals with fame, surveillance, and the need to keep everything hidden, so the text in the video behaves like a classified document: it is covered with black bars, flashed by bursts of light, multiplied, and „leaked“ until it loses its form.

The video opens on light mint paper stamped with «CONFIDENTIAL, ” then cuts to black. The palette is black, cream, and red, mimicking a marker and painter’s tape. All transitions are sharp and timed to the beat of the track.
