Module Objective
Shoot the final project for the elective course. Devise and implement a concept integrated with the main assignment.
Main assignment: creating an homage to a photographic technique // a photographer // an image processing style // or a work.
Concept
Creating a project with an homage to photographers Robert Mapplethorpe and David Bailey. Contemporary photographer Ekaterina Filimon (@ekaterina.filimon) also provided additional inspiration for the composition and shooting style. In addition to the homage, the shoot is dedicated to the premiere of the graduating performance by the actors' troupe of the Faculty of Creative Industries at HSE. The play is based on A.P. Chekhov’s «The Cherry Orchard.»
Final Shots
Even the ugliest thing has its proper place!
The final result of the photoshoot pleased me and, in my opinion, captured the intended concept. It was interesting to work with the lively young actors who embraced any experiment or idea.
I express immense gratitude to the actors for participating in the project: @mariaggg7 // Maria @katerina_mor// Ekaterina @luna_fii // Lyubov @sergebolgar // Arina @olg_g // Olya @tatielyana // Tatiana @mmanturovskayaa // Maria @vladorlenin // Vladlena @mazurkevichvlad // Vlad @chernichkaa_a // Katya @vlrssy // Lera
