Ethnic Modernism
Ethnic Modernism is an artistic direction in which the traditions, ornaments, and cultural symbols of a particular people are reinterpreted using contemporary artistic forms, materials, and compositional principles. The core idea of Ethnic Modernism is to deconstruct traditional symbols and transform them into new abstract forms.

Concept
The art object is based on the Muqarnas vaults—multi-tiered architectural elements of Islamic architecture found in the historical heritage of Uzbekistan. Their complex form, structure, and tiered construction principle served as the starting point for developing the art object.
