The performance transplants the idea of total chaos from Chukovsky’s work, «Fedora’s Misfortune, ” into our reality, exploring the complexity and absurdity of everyday life. When she is exhausted, Fedora turns to the collective intelligence of the internet—to the portal „Otveti.ru.“ There, she meets grotesque characters: just as lost, weary, and absurd as she is. Their advice is a mix of naivety, aggression, and unexpected wisdom.
The performance connects Chukovsky’s imagery (the hyperbolization of daily life, the personification of objects, and a cry for help) with the poetics of the OBERIU movement. Visually—it is a world of pots, basins, bedspreads, vacuum cleaner boxes, enormous escaping dough, and the interface of the «timeless» Answers Mail portal.
