Boho style, or boho-chic, is a direction in fashion, interior design, and art rooted in freedom of self-expression, comfort, the blending of diverse cultures, and a rejection of rigid rules.
The name «boho» derives from the word «bohemian.» In the 19th century, this term was used to describe artists, writers, musicians, and other creative individuals who led free lifestyles and did not strive to adhere to social norms.
The formation of this style was heavily influenced by Gypsy culture, Eastern motifs, ethnic patterns, and folk crafts. Boho became particularly popular during the 1960s and 1970s, thanks to the hippie movement. Clothing began featuring long, flowing dresses and skirts, embroidery, fringe, natural fabrics, large jewelry, and vibrant patterns. The core idea was individuality and liberation from mass-market fashion.

Art — Object
The project is a decorative pendant object in a boho style, where the freedom of form and vibrant details reflect the creator’s individuality, and the light emanating from the lamp inside symbolizes what this person brings to the world.
The main focus is on the lower hanging section: here, the feeling of handcrafted quality and characteristic bohemian chaos is important. The stars, balls, and colored elements visually resemble amulets, dreamcatchers, and ethnic decor.
The project aims for an emotional perception and should evoke a sense of freedom, creativity, and individuality.
